How sad was I to hear that Prescriptives will be closing their retail counters globally as of January 31, 2010?

Really, really sad.

Anyway...in keeping with the Estee Lauder Companies commitment to creating fabulous pink products that benefit Breast Cancer Awareness, Prescriptives is offering this Pink Ribbon Palette for Cheeks and Eyes ($48.50).

You can't beat the price, especially once you factor in that you get two blushes (in petal and apple blossom) and four eyeshadows (pink ribbon pink, aubergine, hocus, and cassis).

And all for under $50 too.

The compact itself can fit perfectly in your makeup bag and also comes fitted with a ginormous mirror for touch-ups.

Who doesn't need one of those..right?

Plus Prescriptives will donate $20,000 in connection with North American sales of the PX Pink Ribbon Palette for Cheeks and Eyes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

While I couldn't find this on prescriptives.com right now, I did find this online at nordstrom.com.  I would imagine that you might be able to snag one at Prescriptives counters as well...but only until supplies last.
